    Oh, man, I was SO GLAD when my husband's company got rid of their push-to-talk phones and went with Blackberrys instead. No more *chirp* *tweedle* *BLAST OF VOLUME AS BOSS CALLS IN THE MORNING*


    Now if someone would only convince them that with Blackberrys they don't need beepers.

    half of this stuff is due to licensing issues, not really "technology." And TiVo doesn't count - it is a DVR, and that is idea has wide adoption.


    And I still think TiVo is overpriced.

    Yeah, well, I don't know what country you're in (probably America, I'm guessing) but it doesn't even matter that I have an American billing address in their system, Amazon VOD won't work for me at all in the Middle East. What is your magic trick, Giz?

    mexicans love push to talk. live in san antonio and almost every mexican family from mexico i see are on them while they shop. they also love to shop.

    @drowning in denon_Nick: for the record, he's talking about the mexican nationals who come here (I also live in San Antonio) exclusively to shop. They dont stay, they just generally walk about as if they own the place because they tend to be ridiculously wealthy. I used to work at North Star Mall where theyd drop huge sums of money at my Hot Topic for their awkward emo children.
