    I wonder how long after this thing is completed that some jackass will try to fly his cesna through the hole at the top. Cool concept, just seems like Dubai is trying to compensate for some shortcomings with all these fancy towers. Not that other nations don't do the same, but at least most of those buildings are mostly practical. Look at how much space is 'lost' with all the voids in the structure just to make the tower higher and look unique.

    Does it have huge popcorn styled walls with tunnels/ ceiling aquariums for the offices or rock water falls that flow into their pools with rock grotos that have giccuzi's and sana's with aquariums surrounding them in a curnal popcorn dome shape with I-Max 3-d holographic projection movie screens and digital surface wall displays or digital surface displays in the rooms?

    Yeah I saw a documentary on the laborers who get conned into going there then can't even leave because the contractors keep their passports and they make crap money compared to what they were promised.

    tell me, with all these mega towers going up in dubai...who is going to live in them?


    i mean u can fit a whole city in a couple of these towers...and since only the big rich can afford to live in these....


    so i guess each one of their tallest building, tallest tower, etc...is going to house 100 people each?
