Why does the gadgets-tugging-for-my-heart pool become more and more crowded each passing day? It's driving me nuts! First the iPodTouch 3G, then the ZuneHD, then the Zii EGG, now this!

(for the record, I'm still hanging on for the EGG to come out)

Estimated to be about 4.5-inches long and 3-inches wide (while still managing a very slim profile),

so people actually do read your friendfinder profile, GitEmSteveDave. Hooray!

Well, it would be a smart move to sell it as a MID with optional phone capabilities. Especially if it was priced reasonably. All these smartphones in the $600 range is retardiculous, when we're seeing sub-notebooks with 7inch screens, SSDs, GHz range CPUs, and full-fledged operating systems for under $400.

As a $250 MID this might reach a wider market, and if you can also activate it as a 3G phone with your carrier, then that just widens the market a bit.
