    GT02 is the working name for the Neo Freerunner, so what is being talked about here is more likely to be Andriod ported to the existing Freerunner rather than a new handset. The main reason that this hasn't already been done is that the Freerunner uses a slightly different processor instruction set to the one that Andriod was previously compiled for.

    The phone is tri-band, and available in 2 frequency models; 850/1800/1900 MHz and 900/1800/1900 MHz. While not perfect this is quite workable for most people. It is GPRS so cellular data is not fast. In my country cellular data is very expensive so I make a point of never using it anyway. Having WiFi and Bluetooth makes up for this to some extent.

    Freerunner does not have 3G...or a real keyboard. I wondered what these OpenMoko guys were going to do when Android came along. This is sort of a surprise. Freerunner is just a necessary evil to them to get OpenMoko out into the wild.

    haha a laser pointer... i'd have to much fun with that, teacher is up at the board doing something and all of a sudden theirs a red light moving back and forth, it'd make for some good laughs, although i don't think my teachers would be to happy

    Don't get this thing no quad band and no camera. Not even a Camera add on? The freq's are the big thing though. Wouldn't the point be to hack it to work on any network?
