Concept artist Andy Park is a good person to follow on Instagram, since he routinely posts wonderful concept art from the various movies he’s worked on. Today, he drew the literal transformation of Ant-Man from Civil War.

Some Marvel Cinematic Universe characters have looks that are pretty close to their iconic comics incarnations, but the Scarlet Witch and Hawkeye have always ditched those looks for more practical outfits. However, this concept art shows Marvel was considering going in a more comic-accurate direction for them.
If you’ve seen Captain America: Civil War, you know that at no point does Daniel Brühl’s Zemo wear anything like the comic book villain’s iconic hood. But now we have concept art that shows that Marvel considered it, at least.
I think most people were happy with the look of Ant-Man in this year’s film. But of course, that wasn’t the initial look. Just as he did with the Wasp, concept artist and Marvel Studios designer Andy Park has posted some alternate looks at the costume.
If the fact Marvel is making an Ant-Man sequel wasn’t cool enough, the fact it’s called Ant-Man and the Wasp is simply amazing. Evangeline Lilly’s character Hope Van Dyne was a highlight of the first film and to see her team up with Paul Rudd should be an exciting and unique addition to the MCU.
Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa auditioned for the role of Drax the Destroyer, and while the role ultimately went to Dave Bautista, early concept art from the film gives us a hint at how Momoa could have looked as Drax.
This gargantuan collection of Avengers concept art shows loads of new Thanos pictures, including one of him running around. Every single still is crazy beautiful, especially all of the S.H.I.E.L.D. shots and the duo fighting image of Hawkeye and Scarlet Witch.
This picture is just so . . . awesome. Seriously, there is fire, and a giant angry horse with spikes, and knights of the multiverse, and swords plus chains.
