What, no popcorn ceiling to give it that old school 70's look?

As I understand it (I am hardly an expert) in the Outback in Australia a significant number of houses are built into the landscape / ground for energy and resource reasons. As far as I am concerned, it only adds to the beauty of the home. Obviously - an environmentalist's dream come true, provided Julie Andrews is not actually singing outside the house.

The Shire's always up in a stir when Frank Lloyd Took takes his whimsy to the landscape. You should see FallingBrandywine. 'Tis a sight, to be certain.

Now imagine a double door where each side is built like this. Making each side swing open at the same time would look awesome.

@chrisfox01: I have one named Nelson. His job is to clean my floors and terrorize my bird. He often gets depressed and commits suicide by mounting a shoe, or shutting himself in the laundry room.

That's a real cool door. But that's a lot of work for an everyday device. It would be cool if it was in a museum or something. In a home, it seems like a huge waste of space, what with the 160 pulleys. God forbid something falls apart and you can't get into the house.
