    A drumming lesson would indeed be great. But the whole setup would be much harder. It's not just a guitar with which you can sit in front of your computer, it has to be a whole set. And filming it, and showing the tabs. A bit too difficult.

    These guitar lessons (and Sting of course) would actually make me, as a drummer, want to get into playing the guitar.

    @10:02am: I haven't used '09, but offhand, I haven't heard of any big changes or improvements. Which is kind of disappointing (although I bet there are little improvements here and there, but nothing that's made headlines).


    The last major upgrade did include some big improvements, like 24 bit recording, so I was hoping there'd be some similar higher end features work their way into this revision. I think Apple is concerned that if Garageband expands too much, it'll cannibalize sales of Logic, but I would love to see some more editing flexibility (or have the ability to turn on an advanced feature set, a la iMovie '09) without having to crank up Logic.

    Sting Plays every instrument imaginable. Even those African Horn things, he can just pick it up and play it. He's a prodigy. I hate him. Wish i could do that.

    I just think he's famous cuz he has a cool name.


    But really, i like him because of his ability to play every instrument. Music is honestly all i ever do. I play drums and piano and i'm usually practicing on one of them. So for someone to be able to pick up any instrument and know how to play it is just amazing to me.

    And yes that's what the African Horn thing i mentioned was. I have a horrible vocabulary. I'm going to school for physics not english, different sides of the brain.
