Can you say FAIL FAIL FAIL? I'll stick with my jailbreak and tethering...that is freakin ridiculous, insane, and stupid...right up there with crippling slingplayer to only work on wifi for the iphone (but allowing it on blackberry, tilt etc)
Stupid.

I've been replying with that in almost every thread. Apple is now making a habit of shafting their early adopters (remember the 3G price drop a month after it came out?)...again, to reiterate, I have ZERO interest in upgrading to the new device...but I do resent the fact that if I WERE interested, I'd have to pay a premium...essentially punishing me because I bought first a 2G, and then a 3G...but for this hardware bump? Is ANYONE really going to pay these prices?
* $299.00* - 8GB iPhone 3G (black)
* $399.00* - 16GB iPhone 3G S (black or white)
* $499.00* - 32GB iPhone 3G S (black or white)

Everyone one else under contract has to wait 18 months before they become eligible for upgrade pricing. Surely AT&T should take a loss just because you already own a particular phone.

They're not punishing early adopters. Do you feel punished for buying a PC only to have the manufacturer release a new/better model next year w/out offering a trade-up/trade-in plan?
Also, the only reason Apple/AT&T gave you the option to upgrade at subsidized prices last time was because 2G purchasers paid full price (unsubsidized) for your phone.
Stop being a whiny ass about the fact that you don't get a special price break on the new model. Every cellular manufacturer comes out with new models each year, and most carriers DO NOT allow you to upgrade at subsidized prices unless your contract (2 years) is fulfilled.
Pretty much you're being an intolerable whiny bitch about this fact because you're a useless consumer who thinks they are entitled to a new phone every year at special pricing...and if you are not given that special pricing then the manufacturer is screwing you for being an early adopter.
I owned the original LG V when it was released. I did not bemoan having to pay to upgrade to the EnV when it was released. Why would I?
