Creative Presents Cease-and-Desist Note to Developer Hero

After Vista's release, Creative's Audigy Sound Blaster series lost a lot of their in-built functionality. Developer, good-guy and all around hero, Daniel_K stepped up to the challenge, putting together his own drivers and asking for non-obligatory donations in recognition of his effort. MSI To Feature Onboard Audigy 2

MSI's K8N and P4N motherboards are getting a highly anticipated upgrade. This upgrade will include the high-end Audigy2 soundchip integrated into the motherboard. Currently Creative's best onboard sound offered is the SoundBlaster Live! 24-bit and the addition of the Audigy2 chip is a significant upgrade. So what does this mean for you, Mr. Joe Citizen. Well with a high-end integrated soundcard that leaves more room for more important computer expansion cards, like more USB ports! Actually this could really advance the appeal of small-form-factor computers because of the lessened need for expansion slots. Gigabyte plans on including the onboard Audigy2 soundchip next. More »
