@Digitallysick: It's just dialing numbers going down lists. I know this because (ex.) my husband's cell is 555-555-5532 and mine is 555-555-5534. His phone rings and then about a minute later, mine does. Same number calling.
@DvBoard: Ditto. They call my husbands phone, then mine (we're two numbers off from each other) then his then mine. I got two calls in a matter of 20 minutes.
That makes me happy. I'm a verizon customer and have had those bastards call me on more than one occasion. Each time saying it's my last chance at a new warranty.
If I had more money I'd buy a new Prius... >.> damn college books. >.> No matter how ugly the Prius looks on the outside, I still liked my family's Prius. The new one looks cooler.
@imTheKing: To be fair, his comment is not completely unjustified. It takes a fair amount of C02 to make and service hybrid cars, so much so, it would be better for the environment overall to drive a small car like the Scion Xb instead of a Prius. But then, you would not have the self-satisfaction of driving a hybrid car.
But don't get me wrong. Current hybrid cars like the Prius are a move in the right direction. Not only are they an important step in developing better, cheaper batteries, but they also help people get used to the idea that one day, cars will be powered by something other than gasoline.
Y'know, I'm trying to get my mom to get one of these. More recently (I'm 15 now) I've been a lot more environmentally cautious. She has one of those big Mercedes SUVs that everyone has. We do use it since we truck a lot of cargo and I have to younger siblings, but she hates it. There's nowhere to put anything in the front and it costs a lot for gas, and with the economy, that's an issue. She says she'll look into it when she's ready to get a new car though. I'm not letting her get anything else since the Prius will fit every need we have while also being better for the environment.
@videoCWK: From what I understand, and from what I've read, The Prius actually does more damage to the environment than you think.
A friend of mine who's car recently exploded (literally) is obviously in the market for a new car. He had his heart set on buying up this prius, but will most likely go with a mid-sized 4 cylinder.
Why? Well Apparently a lot of damage is caused to the environment while creating the battery that is put into the Prius. The Nickel that is in the battery is mined and smelted at a plant in Ontario, Canada. Apparently, this activity has killed off all life around the plant for miles. Supposedly NASA used this "dead zone" to test moon rovers.
I'm not sure if all this is true, but i did find the article all this talk came from, the original article.

So yes, I see what both of you are saying.
