Why do we throw coins into fountains and pretend that a wish will come true? Oh that’s right, there’s a wish granting man underneath every fountain that can totally make it happen. Or at least that’s what happens in this very cute short animation, The Wishgranter.
Pixar movies are funny and fantastic and all ploy at your emotions with wonderful characters and an always relatable story. But almost everything works out in the end of all their movies. What if they didn’t?
If you grew up with an older brother or sister and an old school video game console, Zachary Antell’s short animation Player Two should hit you right in the nostalgic feeling bank. Some people call that a heart, and maybe make you want to pick up the phone to call him or her (or let’s be honest, shoot a text to them).
I can’t imagine anything cuter than R2-D2 trying to seduce someone—or in this case, something: A blue mailbox. He brings her flowers, performs the sweetest mating dance, watches movies with her, or even zaps away people who try to mail things.
It’s good to be young. It’s good to be young when life is simple and fear isn’t something you’ve learned yet and fun can be expressed in its most joyful form. It’s good to be young and have a dad who can take you on a stunt plane ride of your life and bend the world. I mean, look at 4-year-old Lea, she’s having the…
Say it with me: awwwww. In a story that's a little like the first hour of Wall-E, this short film, Artoo In Love by Evan Atherton, tells a cute love story of R2-D2 and a blue mailbox. R2 starts holding picnics with it, zaps away people who want to mail things and holds an umbrella over its head when it rains.
Before you sic the No Fun Federation of Parenting onto Jorge Tirado, an awesome dad and surfer, just look at how much fun his 9-month-old baby who was apparently born for the thirst of the ocean is having. And just think about how awesome he's going to be when he grows up after having such crazy experiences.
Jack Tew and Sorcha Anglim came up with such an awesomely creative way to tell a love story and one that makes so much sense: From the sole perspective of the bedroom. The short, Me & You, is filmed completely from the ceiling of the room, giving you a bird's eye view of the entire relationship, from start to finish.
Kids are cute and also hilariously picky eaters so they're pretty perfect for this experiment by Cut Video that makes them eat different breakfast foods from all across the world. It's fun to see how they react and also interesting to see what different countries eat for breakfast.
The public service announcement is emotionally manipulative and strategically pulls at the most basic things everyone likes (cute kids! young love!) and might even be scripted and is definitely edited nicely but still, the message is something that even children know to be true: Domestic violence is not okay.
Here's a cute video that I hope turns into an entire series: imagining what's inside a kid's, well, imagination. The video starts off with the toddler waving a stick as he runs around (as kids tend to do) and then transforms into a level of Super Mario Bros. Being a kid is awesome. We just see the stick, they see…
Latte art is great for making you feel a little bit special in the beginning of the day and absolutely necessary for any hashtag coffee Instagram post but it turns out, latte art also makes for a cute way to tell a stop motion animation love story too. Follow along this spot that uses 1,000 cups of latte to show love.
Meet Munchkin the Shih Tzu. Or as I like to call her when she's wearing her teddy bear costume, a real life Ewok from Star Wars. Or maybe she's just a real life teddy bear. Whatever she is, she's super cute and when I watch her walk, I can't help but smile.
I learned two things while watching this aww-inducing video. Scarlett, the cute 2-year-old girl in the video, is a genius child with an eagle eye for instantly recognizing typefaces better than most humans and that it's going to be awesome to be a parent because you can teach your kid whatever the heck you want them…
This cute little squirrel has a pool repairman to thank for saving its life. When the little critter was found floating in a pool in Phoenix, Rick Gruber, the pool guy, resuscitated it back to life by performing a little bit of CPR. After a few minutes of pumping its lungs, the squirrel was breathing again.
Meet Kristin and Zachary. They're a geeky couple who love each other and geeky things so it was fitting that they decided to have the geekiest wedding ever. How geeky? How about Nintendo cartridge invitations. Doctor Who shoes. A Star Wars guestbook. A Lego cake. Butterbeer. An Xbox achievement for the first kiss. And…
Meet man's best friend of the ocean, the shark. Wait, what? It sure seems like that in this video. Watch as this adorable (?) Caribbean reef shark waddles its way over to the scuba diver as if it's asking her to pet it. And when she's done petting, the shark wants more!
The best thing about having kids is making them like all the things you like and getting them to do things that you wished you did as a kid. Like dress up as a mini Predator. They can be whatever parents want them to be and no matter what, they'll be impossibly cute. Being a parent is so easy!
I think we've met the cutest 4-year-old boy that has ever existed. Or, if not the cutest, at least the coolest. But, if not the coolest, then definitely the most stylish. His name is Ryker and he recreates fashion poses to adorable success. Just look at him, he looks like he belongs on the cover of GQ.
You can totally imagine what this adorable kid going through an automatic car wash for the first time is thinking. He takes a swig out of his juice to take the edge off but is quickly shocked at what he's seeing. He looks all around at the car wash gadgets (which he probably thinks are monsters), does a double take, a…
