    Brilliant! A perfect complement for Apple's numberpadless wireless keyboard!

    I have a friend who uses the iPhone as a business phone, he got it thinking he would hate it but now he can't let go of it. He is always showing me the cool shit it can do.

    Why pay $40 for a number pad when you can pay $400.

    @Leathersoup: Because, when you want to use that $40 number pad for something else, you sit there and realize...

    ..it's just a number pad.

    This would be sweet if it worked for Windows...(maybe using bluetooth or something?). I would definitely pay for it...

    @Anonymoose:
    You didn't think of it because it's a lame idea. The 3G is CURVED so you have to pick up the phone to tap on it. Which will take as long as using either the number keys on top (PC/Mac) or the number keys overlaid on the keyboard (PC).

    @JEmlay: I've got my 3G right here, and unless you've got moose hooves it doesn't move around all that much. The edges are beveled but the back of it is still flat.
