I bought a bunch of Estes kits to build and launch with my 5 year old son. He wasn't that into it, but I was. Big Bertha, Baby Bertha, and Der Red Max. May Baby Bertha RIP after poor wind tracking on my part caused her to land in a tree.
@AlphaPepper: Memories...!
I loved the smell of the Dope. And D CELLs! (D-0)
Alas, my rockets were lost to the wind or woods...
I remember putting a bee in the clear payloader model...and it survived the launch and return!!
Well, it was "a long time ago", so perhaps this fits. The Cylons could fly, so it makes sense they could have arrived on a planet w/some Darth Vader propaganda photos and liked the idea.
What the hell is wrong with the girl on the left? Both of them are about the same height in the photo give or take a little. Look at the difference in their hips. It is freaking me out.
@Husar: they are posing in differnt angles, and Grece Park (5'9 tall) has a longer body and shorter legs, while Tricia Helfer (5'10 tall) has longer legs and shorter upper body. Everything clear now?
@Shamoononon thinks twitter sucks: She's also wearing a tiny jacket. That doesn't help the "cut-in-half-then-elongated-and-pot-back-..." look she's throwing.
Had to set it up with the girlfriend in advance. She's going out for a ladies night, and I'm getting some gelato and waiting until about a half an hour after it starts so I can ff through the commercials.
In short NO. Only if that chick in the pic dressed up like that for every episode, and the camera focused on her for 90% of the show. The other 10% would be lasers, phasers, and every other form of pew pew.
I feel the same about BSG ending as I did about Quantum Leap ending. Sad. Lonely. Afraid of life without it. Sobbing myself to sleep. Hoping each time that the next jump/leap will be the jump/leap home.
I refuse to watch this version because, c'mon! Starbuck is a MAN!
And cylons are these silver robots with KITT eyes that go around saying, "by your command".
So, no. I will not watch the finale. I will not watch any episode of this remake because I loved the original series and I don't want my fond memories ruined.
@ottermann: Oh you're not going to like this then. BJ and the Bear is getting re-made but with a more Politically Correct title while also retaining the controversial gender swapping character re-imaging.

Jim: You know, it's weird. It's practically a shot for shot remake.
Andy: Really? Huh, that's cool.
Jim: Story's kinda bland. It's about this guy named Dumbledore Calrissian who needs to return the ring back to Mordor.

Why can't hollywood just leave the oldies alone?
What's next?
BJ and the Bear: 2009?
Really After M*A*S*H?
She's the Sheriff Again?
Remaking old series is R - O - N - G wrong!
