Just think of the fond memories we will have in twenty years when we see photos of the joyous devices we type on Gizmodo right now.
There were still a couple of these around Selfridges and other stores when I was in high school. I admit that I was lucky enough to start with a VIC-20 instead, but there was always something appealing about a keyboard where you press three different keys simultaneously and it saves you two keystrokes by typing the word for you.
When I was a few years old, my dad got our first household computer, a Timex Sinclair 1000... years later I tracked down a working one at a garage sale and actually programmed it a bit. Good times...
You know, these notes would be better if we got a response once and a while. One way conversations tend to get stale...not that they've reached that point. Yet.
