    Being old as I am, I have most of the Beatles albums on vintage vinyl. I've considered ripping them to digital format (now that I have the right turntable). Can't decide whether that'd be better than shelling out more money for the remastered ones.


    And I sure wish I could go back in time and beat the crap out of the lowlife who stole my bootleg "Kum Back."

    Damn. If only you could pirate music when the Beatles were just getting started. They would have earned more than enough money from t-shirts and performing at the local pub to last maybe a year or two before becoming accountants and shoe salesmen.

    I really don't want to have to pirate this because of all the awesome liner notes, but come on! The music is years old. If we were living 200 years ago, they would have been public domain by now.

    Personally I don't care about, or for the Beatles. I do care about whether music is actually being destroyed and sucked of content.

    What I was referring to were the countless rumors of the Beatles coming to the iPod or mp3 store somewhere by someone or... Over and over again.


    Pretty much, every few years they re-release the same crap in some other manner. What I want to know is, in this case is are they being remastered (Louder) or remastered (Better, cleaner, more fidelity.)??

    You find me another musical act that has sold over a billion (that's _billion_, with a "B") albums, and you can talk about how they're not relevent. They still sell more music every year than the Rolling Stones, and they haven't produced a new studio album in the last thirty years.
