A few good ones missing. Byline is the best RSS reader I've found. Now Playing provides movie listings sortable by location, time AND Rotten Tomatoes review scores. Things provides the to-do list that ought to be built in to iPhone and iCal. Amazon provides the best retail app. Instapaper great for web pages you need to read offline -- like travel articles from the New York Times, which are a great substitute for a guidebook. Oh -- and it's not an app -- but the New York Times iPhone-optimized mobile site is way better than the newspaper's sluggish app.

Yelp please. I've found more great places to eat with Yelp than any other App (Urbanspoon is just awful by comparison).
