I'm not going to fight with people to spend my money... I stick to online even if that means I pay a bit more as it's well worth the hassle free experience.
@MJZombro: I feel your pain. I used to work at Circuit City. What a nightmare.
My favorite are the people that walk in at noon, then yell at you because there aren't any "door busters" left. And coming in at a close second, is shoplifters.
God I'm glad I don't work there now. Anyway, sorry bud. Make the best of it.
@Mr.V.: The paper's on El Lissitzky's move from painting more traditional Jewish works, with Yiddish lettering etc., to Suprematist work (a la Malevich, see Lissitzy's Proun) with the Bolshevik Revolution. The paper is more an examination of how Soviet policy, even from the beginning, was anti-Semetic even when Soviet policy specifically forbade anti-Semetic sentiment and crimes (i.e. pogroms), since Russia moved from discriminating against Jews in business, social status, and civil rights to discriminating against Jewish culture and religious institutions, which certainly back then and very much so now is the lifeblood of the Jewish people.
@blash: Shame, the USSR had some damn good graphic designers and such.
And to be fair, all religious nonsense was abolished. So you can't quite say that it was specifically antisemitic? I dunno. It seems like people are quick to call antisemitism these days. Sure it's a problem, but a lot of people seem to be looking for pity...
I'm getting all of you the same thing I got you last year... but because of the economy, this year I was able to get twice as much for everyone, without spending a penny more.
@Conrad: My father in law has a forty+ year old trailer in the yard that hasn't moved in at least 25 years. Every night after dinner he goes out there with a bottle of Carlo Rossi and listens to Anne Murray 8-Tracks. He wanders back in the house every morning for breakfast.
Haven't seen anything worth staying/waking up for.
Where I live it's not too bad as long as you stay away from Best Buy where the line typically wraps around the building and the entire area goes more than a little stupid. Even the Walmart stays relatively sane, though I avoid that place like the plague for numerous other reasons.

The best part: walking around the mall looking at the countless men with utter panic on their faces.
