Never walked through the arms and armor section of your local museum, huh? They used to make swords and knives with single-shot pistols built into the hilts. They pretty much sucked for straight-up bladework (the hilts tended to be a big more fragile than one would prefer), but if you're the sort who would be more likely to end up skewered anyways, well, the better part of valor is making sure you win or something like that.

I was so waiting for the next guy to step up and continue shilling those things. That would have been truly priceless.
