    Nothing cooler than Batman Begins Batmobile which is a Hummer crossed with a Lamborghini Countach from the mind and hands of designer Andy Smith of Deep Cove, British Columbia.

    Cool as the Tumbler was, the Batpod trumps it.

    Maybe it's me, but I think that a Batmobile, a vehicle designed to haul around someone whose whole shtick is batty stealth, should not have big slits along the flanks that glow. I've always hated this batmobile because it looks like some sort of Christmas ornament with all the superfluous lights everywhere.

    Of all the Batmobiles, why would you want to duplicate the one from the worst Batman movie ever?

    @a_pink_poodle: Batman Forever was not as bad as Batman & Robin. Having George Clooney as Batman is like a tumor given a little cane and a top hat set to dance to "Puttin' On The Ritz".

    @Kaiser-Machead: Come to think of it, I'd rather watch a tumor dance to Puttin' On The Ritz.

    Batman Forever was an abomination! This person did a nice job though.

    No, Batman & Robin was an abomination. Batman Forever was just a modest travesty.

    dude that engine work must have taken forever. i am impressed at the dorky, grease monkiness this took to inspire yourself to even walk into the garage. now the rest of it looks kinda stupid. kinda -- lemme make up my own bat-mo-car sort of motif on it. just don't like the styling cues. but i love the engine. not the body.

    If you're gonna make the Batmobile, make the one from the first Burton movie (aka the freaking sweet one with the shields), not the one with the single fin that wobbles when you go over 20.

    @Marcelo: Yes... or at least the Tumbler or other cool ones like these:

    @DarkSomnium:
    The Tumbler is a bad one to try to recreate because of how robust your rear differential needs to be to handle those four rear swampers. If you want your car to look like the Tumbler, you kinda need to _build_ the Tumbler. The other Batmobiles you can pretty much build around your average ordinary car.

    For simplicity, I'd say go with the B:TAS Batmobile. For sheer cool factor, the Burtonmobile. And for people who actually like the Adam West stuff, I hear that one's considered to be a rather iconic version. But the friggen Kilmer-mobile? While it does have a very distinctive look, and it sorta screams "bat-toy", all I can ever think of is that stupid S-foil trick with the main fin, and how utterly stupid they looked as they bounced up and down everytime the Batmobile drove over anything bigger than a grain of sand.
