@Jrsy Devil's Advocate®: Where does it say how many Wh? Besides the fact that unless the entire bottom is a battery or it's some fancy new technology, no way 16 cells are fitting in that thing. #nokiabooklet3g
@Yerzriknot: I think at that point you're not in the market for a netbook anyway. Larger computers are generally cheaper for the spec because the engineering involved is not as demanding. That said, there are cheaper netbooks with better specs than the Nokia. #nokiabooklet3g
That whole HDMI output but no 1080p video really confuses the crap out of me. It's like Nokia doesn't actually understand what HDMI is. #nokiabooklet3g
@Wilson Rothman: To be honest 99% of the population doesnt know what HDMI is. Whoever is marketing them is a genius though because everyone i run into thinks you cant play 1080p without an hdmi.
I think too often netbook reviews dont get what netbooks are. small cheap and access the series of tubes. I think the idea here is if you are getting a 3g package from sprint you might as well get some extra benefits when you sign the contract. #nokiabooklet3g
@Wilson Rothman: I think they were going for the primary benefit of HDMI. It's audio and video on one cable firstly; ability to handle 1080p secondly. #nokiabooklet3g
It's really a shame, considering how nice this thing looks. If I was going to pay $600 for a netbook, I'd rather get a Lenovo S12 with the NVidia ION, 2GB of RAM and 250GB HDD. #nokiabooklet3g
Thanks for the review Joanna. I'd be curious to know how much actual mileage you get outta that battery. I don't know if I'd get used to the chicklet keyboard thought. I didn't like it on the MacBook so I returned it (that and the damn thing was dog slow). As far as the SIM goes if I were using this I would probably just tether the phone instead of SIM swapping. The price is definitely going to be the real ballbuster here. If Nokia has any hopes of penetrating the market with this thing the price has to come down. I mean seriously who do they think they are, Apple...
Seriously though, no Ion, what seems to be fairly basic netbook internals throughout, save for the battery, and they dare try to price it along the same lines as a mid-range full-sized laptop? Nokia, get off the crack ya bombaclods.
Very nice looking. Nokia definitely picked up a few product and packaging design tips from Apple. Hopefully this guy will have some follow up videos to show how it performs.

actually, since nokia makes it, it's a 'nooklet', which is not to be confused with a cranny, though both are of similar dimensions. #nokiabooklet3g

@darkshaddow42: Yes, the battery does take up almost half of the bottom. #nokiabooklet3g

There's absolutely nothing wrong with AT&T's 3G service. Connectivity and network speeds are beyond reproach.
