The system uses side-by-side pixel placement coupled with a "filtering mask." We're guessing this filtering mask is essentially the technology found for ages in lenticular printing, that fancy technology that allowed an animated Frank Thomas to knock one out of the park on your fancy baseball card.

So while the driver views the GPS, the passenger can watch The Gilmore Girls Season One DVD. And while the passenger watches the The Gilmore Girls, the driver can lean over to the passenger's seat to take a look at the mother/daughter's crazy argument of the week...rendering the technology useless. <![CDATA[Bosch Power Box iPod Dock: Proof That Size Does Matter]]> What the heck is the deal with this Bosch Power Box iPod dock? Deflecting onlookers from its intended purpose, this contraption looks like it could be used to trigger 50s-era nuclear weapons rather than just power and protect a stoopid iPod. But then, we're fed up with iPods anyway, so anything that would vaporize them all would be a welcome respite from having to write about them day in and day out.

Apparently designed for a he-man jobsite, the docking case can not only charge that beloved music player, it's supposed to protect the thing from shock and movement, too. But what? Are you going to be playing soccer with your precious little iPod, kicking it around with reckless abandon? Remember, you paid hundreds of dollars for it.

So if you feel like kicking around that iPod, the CD-player-packing boom box is going to cost you $170. Plus, you'll have to drop $40 on the iPod adapter kit. Or hey, just leave your iPod at home and hum all those tunes to yourself at the jobsite. The neighbors will thank you.

<![CDATA[World Exclusive Bosch Power Box iPod Dock Reviewed (Vedict: Wowz0r!)]]> This be it, the very first images you will see ever of the Bosch Power Box PB10-CD iPod Boombox. Just look at it, it is simply breathtaking and it plays back music all good-like. It has a roll cage for sakes, it has to be amazing. Are you impressed yet? You should be because nobody has ever seen anything quite like this. It does something with an iPod, I think. But who cares? Look at it! It's beautiful!

<![CDATA[Bosch Power Box iPod Dock Brings The Overkill]]> Is this Bosch Power Box really an iPod dock? It looks more like a beefed up oscilloscope, or some kind of underwater contraption from the 1950s used to get sharks to mate with dolphins.

Marine Biology experiments aside, the "dock" has roll-bars, a 12-volt auxiliary outlet, fits any size iPod, a power outlet to charge your iPod, an LCD screen protected by some bars, and an MP3 CD Player. Why you would need an MP3 CD player on an iPod dock is beyond me, but who am I to judge the design aspirations of the makers of the SHARKOLPHIN MATER 2000?

It costs $210 total for the box and the iPod kit.

<![CDATA[Bosch Power Box iPod Dock For (Wannabe) Tough Gys]]> It's been a while since we've covered an iPod dock (or maybe it just seems that way), but Bosch's recently introduced Power Box iPod Dock at least looks different. Housed in a protective roll cage—Bosch is also in the power tools business—the Power Box both recharges your iPod and provides the rock quarry with all the Ace of Base it can handle.

It appears, though, that the Power Box is a little too simple for today's iPod market: when you consider that you have to first purchase Bosch's Power Box and then the separate iPod dock compnent, you'll eventually start wondering why you're going through all those hoops for just to get your iPod connected.

Still, if you like pretending to be rugged and the name Bosch appeals to you, be prepared to spend some $170 on the Power Box itself, then an additional $40 on the iPod adapter kit.
