I'm really not a big fan of that design. I hope that those aren't finalized! I've had high hopes for Microsoft design after the backgrounds in Windows 7 and the interface of the Zune HD, but this is a huge step back.
No Outlook on the Home and Student edition?! WHAT?! Come on Microsoft, I know you're losing to web apps in the email and calendar space but that's no reason to give up...
@white.jtw: I demoed the starter edition and hated it. I love my Office 2007. If Home and Student is better, I might get it, but if it's anything like starter, I'll be sticking with 2007 for a while.
@ALT: Do you mean guerrila marketing, meaning the use of kitsch and viral marketing in an unconventional system of promotions, running on a very low budget, by relying on time, energy and imagination instead of big marketing budget.
Or do you mean gorilla marketing, meaning the use of silverback gorillas to promote products and services by relying on an unspoken but overriding fear of being mauled by said gorillas?
