If it's black, send it back.

"Boxed Water is carbon-filtered, purified water from Minnesota and it tastes like...water - simple and refreshing."

With bottled water you can open/shut it, not have to worry about it flipping over and spilling (with the lid on, of course) and you can easily carry it around (ie: the mesh holders on backpacks).

What you gotta say now!

Being on a campus with ~25,000 people, I have NEVER seen the carton but see the bottles all the time.

I just bought a fridge with AWESOME water capabilities to STOP BUYING WATER!!
Sure I'm buying filters now, but CRUSHED ICE PEOPLE.
CRUSHED ICE!!!!

Less sure about the crushed ice people. It sounds like a good way to solve a dangerous problem, but I can't say that I love it in quite the same way.
I also love that you are back commenting more regularly.
It will take me some time to decide which I love more.
...
Yeah, sorry, I think it's the crushed ice.

I didn't realize I had become less than regular.
(Maybe more fiber.)
I built a new computer recently, so it's very likely I'm engrossed in Bioshock or something, I dunno.

Yeah, a little e coli and a month long bout of diarrhea never hurt anyone.

puh-leaze... Where are you living, in the Congo? The U.S. and Canada have the cleanest, more sterile water in the world. Be it UV irradiation, chlorination, or other methods, no one else tops our fastidious treatment of water.

This is not a business model that should survive the recession.

If you're in NYC for example, it's arguably "better" to eat olives from Italy than radishes from Ohio.
Which is not to say that I don't agree that it's relatively absurd and prefer to drink my water from the NYC tap.

(But mostly because if you do, the bag will break and the water will end up on the floor.)
