Motorola RAZR MAXX Ve in the Wild

Boy Genius, the ~~man~~ boy who manages to pull some special strings to get his grubby hands on the latest and greatest phones, now has the Motorola RAZR MAXX Ve that we heard about yesterday.

Sportin' a much larger external display than it's GSM cousin, the Verizon unit looks dramatically better. Some other changes are a 2 mega-pixel Auto Focus camera, and keypad layout. Everything seemed to be pretty fast, for a Verizon UI. The camera worked very well auto-focusing shots before taking the final click, and MP3 controls on the outer screen were responsive.

I hate to say it, but that is one sexy looking RAZR variant. –Travis Hudson

Blackberry Pearl Updates: White Before V-Day and Now On Cingular

These are renderings, but Boy Genius promises we'll see a white pearl before Valentines Day. Apparently on T-Mobile. Reversing the natural order of things, the white pearl will be at first more rare than the black.

Especially since Cingular announced their Black Pearl today.

This means it's on its way to RAZR/Treo status: So beautiful and affordable, that they flood lands until no one wants them.

Call me traditional, but I find the idea of a white "Blackberry" as weird as a black iPod. –Brian Lam

Within the first few days of launch, he's already got a multi phone review from producer Just Blaze, leaked internal docs of a Blackberry 8800c, a hands on of an $18,000 Vertu luxury phone, and some naked ladies.
