Back in the Garden of Eden, when God was done making Adam and Eve, He went to them and said that He had a bag of leftover parts and features and asked them, who wanted what feature. He said one of the leftovers was the ability to pee standing up. Adam was thrilled and said "ME ME, I want that" and seeing as how it made Adam so happy, Eve said, sure, he cant have that, so off Adam went, peeing on trees, and whatnot.
