I remember flying into Dubai, you could see the building sticking up and out of the smog layer. When I asked the pilot about it they said they never see that anywhere else. #vertigo
After watching that, I glanced down and realized I had a death grip on my desk. I didnt even realize I was "holding on" the whole time I was viewing it. #vertigo
that is one brave, brave man... i start to feel a bit queasy in the st. louis arch... when looking at the people below me slowly come in and out of view... not sure i could handle the top of that thing... at all. #vertigo
My college dorm was 14 stories high at the top, and there was a study lounge up there. Occasionally, we'd get some pretty strong winds -- from 80 to 100 mph -- and it was always fun to study up there when the gales came in. You could go to the restrooms and watch the water slosh around the toilet bowls. Good times. #vertigo
I want to thro a videocamera from the top. I think it could survive if you put it in a clear beach ball or something. Well at least the SD card will survive that's the important part. #vertigo
@Kaiser-Machead: It wouldn't kill anybody according to the Mythbusters. They tested a penny moving at terminal velocity and it didn't cause enough damage to a ballistics gel dummy to assume death if it hit a human...it'd be pretty damn cool, though. #vertigo
@Yinzers Are People Too: Heck, Adam had Jamie fire a penny at terminal velocity from a modified air-nailer at his hand and it didn't even break the skin. The fastest a penny is going to fall in the atmosphere is roughly 50-60mph. Not only that, I doubt the penny would ever make it to the ground in the first place. Skyscrapers have unusual wind currents going up their sides. The wind currents would probably carry you penny back up towards you. #vertigo
Hmm, Dubai is like my 10 year-old godchild... He wants crap just because everyone else has it and of course, he gets it. I'm kinda' bored of that pattern and Dubai has no character now- it's just a spoiled brat.
Every single time I see "worlds biggest" or "world's largest" It's always in dubai. That is excluding humans of course. All of the worlds largest of those are in America apparently. #burjdubaifountain

More than one in three children in Dubai are overweight, according to a study released yesterday by Dubai Health Authority.
@vqro: The UAE is at a disadvantage and has to import some 80 per cent of the food it consumes. We can take 'em! Home-grown advantage! #burjdubaifountain
@Sticks Calhoun: Oh, okay. In that case, can you help me put together a petition to get the Windows 7 burger on American Burger King menus? #burjdubaifountain

I really don't understand what is so appealing about Dubai's waste and excess built on the backs of slaves. No, seriously, I don't. #burjdubaifountain
