When I was shopping for home theater seating, I almost sprung for the buttkickers. I'm glad I didn't becaue it would seem that dedicated home theater seating reverberates much better than the old heavy overstuffed crap I used to have.

Two Klipsch F2's, two Klipsch F1's and a Klipsch sub-10 are more than enough to vibrate my couch.

Plus it's a purty couch!

The ButtKicker is almost *too* much rumble & shake for me.

I wish they'd make a ButtSmacker model. Or ButtWhisperer.

On another note, wasn't "Mamma Mia!" the most underrated movie of '08???

So it just shakes your chair but adds nothing to the sound? Seems a waste. You want shaking, ask me over, pop on a scary movie and my shakey terror will be all the feedback your furniture will need and for a hell of a lot less than $300.

@Curves: haha, why do you assume I would make meatloaf, or are you somehow allergic/grossed out by it? I'm an excellent cook by the way.

Oh, and to stay on topic since Giz doesn't like all the side banter, these seem pretty cool I suppose. I wouldn't mind having a demonstration of them to know what it's like. I wonder how many units this thing can support. If you had a real home theater I'm sure it would have multiple seats. Happy now Giz? haha
