I never understood why people take these into their shitty driveways to take a picture of it. Do they have little kids locked in cages inside their house and they don't want people to see?
@Sean Scrooby Grube: They probably keep them in their garage, and it's easier to wheel them out to the driveway to take a pic than to maneuver them through all the child cages in their living room to take a pic.
If by "sit down" you mean "lay dormant on the couch with head propped up by three pillows with the keyboard teeter-tottering across your belly while slurping Mountain Dew through a Flexi-Straw so as to leave the can parked stationery next to your head", then, yes, I agree with you.
@luckylakey: I might have too, but my parents didn't get a new large appliance until I was 14. A refrigerator, by then I decided that I did not have to live on the street in front of our house, and that the parents weren't as alien-like as I once thought.
@Software_Goddess: Same here but we usually made spaceships, robots, the Flying Sub from Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea and stuff like that which always ended up being violently destroyed by freak meteor showers, angry giants, bizarre sea creatures, etc...
@Software_Goddess: I admit that when I was twelve I was building arcade cabinets that looked remarkably similar to this, except I was using components from Radio Shack to make things move and lights flash. Still, the concept is the same - minus the actual technology to have a working arcade game, mind you.
@Software_Goddess: Ah, the imagination of children! I remember the joy when we got a new refrigerator and I had this huge cardboard box to make believe anything I wanted. I'd set that box up on the porch, climb deep inside its mysterious darkness and pretend I was a refrigerator ready for shipping!
So I had a warped childhood, wanna make something of it?
AND YOU SHOULD MENTION THAT ALL THE PROCEEDS GO TO MUSIC FOR RELIEF. THESE WERE DONE BY GREAT ARTISTS.

Just wondering, would be better to atleast provide a "default" explanation for the reason of removal just to avoid giving people who click on a link to a post the old "404 page not found" error
