the old woman is also employed by comcast, and the whole thing was a publicity stunt.

corporate policy would have told those installers to charge her for a destroyed cable box, or at least sign them up for service without notification had they not been comcustomers

Good for them, I'd like to think that I'd make the same decision when faced with it point blank. A beautiful case of humans treating eachother as humans.

Hopefully they'll be getting raises or bonuses for the good PR they've given the company.
