    That cap is puny when compared to the ones I saw in the hallway outside the office of Harold Edgerton at MIT in 1980. They were about 3' cubes!

    So....how many amps? You know, since volts doesn't actually translate into power without amperage. If it was 5000V and only .001A that'd only be 5W which isn't all that much.

    although... I'd say that for voltage... describing it's units as a measurement of energy / charge doesn't really nail it quite like describing it as a measurement of potential difference does.

    We have a manual one...extremely simple in design, but it get the job done just as well as that.

    As for laziness, i have 2 little brothers and a little sister

    That's my rechargeable battery/electric motor

    Eco? I don't think so. This thing took resources to build and also uses electricity for something that doesn't need it. In the end this thing is just something that itself will eventually end up in the land fill or have to be dismantled and recycled. It's a joke to call it "Eco".

    @jmonty: In the sense that it promotes recycling to some who might be too lazy to crush cans with a non-automated tool (or no tool at all for that matter).
