    - "I'm sorry mr Smith, I must say I love your cardapult, but we've already received about 143 of these already from other applicants, and to say the truth, we are not into paper craft business..." "Now, do you have other skills we could use?"

    - "eeeh, I can make a bigger one if you like! That was just a sample size!"

This is awesome, but I'm still infatuated with the LEGO minifig business cards.

@UofITom: this will make people handle your card, they will end up reading it, they will keep it. <--this is invaluable

and since it is uncommon you will be in the forefront of their thought when a situation arises(available job/need for your services)

@UofITom: Actually it is a good Idea to get a business card with personal info on it, even if its just one that you print out at home. email address, contact number, web site, linked in profile, maybe twitter handle, stuff that can show who you are and what you can do. especially in the Info Tech world its a good idea to show some accomplishments online that you are proud of. or just where people can go to see more about who you are.

As a mechanical engineer - that is a cool card to have. But I am an electrical engineer - so mine was a business card that shocked people when they held it... I haven't gotten any calls back for some reason.

@TheCapt: should have made it vibrate with a battery only you can replace. Would have gotten some calls then.
