Since most of the crap I have lying around is related to gaming, I should probably invest in this case from Kangaroom, whose various organizing solutions we've covered a couple times before. The Gamer Pocket and Carrying Case drapes over any sofa arm and holds up to 8 Wii controllers or nunchucks, 8 games, and other accessories. If you want to take it on the go, flip it over and it turns into a mobile carrying case. Costs $30 off the website. [Kangaroom]

<![CDATA[Griffin Apple Hi-Fi Carrying Case]]> Hot off our 18-hour Apple ban—it was a long and rough night without Apple—I would like to present you with the most highly anticipated Apple accessory ever made. Remember the Hi-Fi iPod speaker system from Apple? Yeah the same speaker system that caused riots in Apple stores nationwide. The one that was being hocked for thousands of dollars on the black market because they were in such demand. Yeah, that one. Well, Griffin has released a carrying case for this speaker dock. The Griffin Hi-Way (how cute) carrying case can protect the Hi-Fi from all the elements. It includes a flap for iPod docking and pockets to hold iPod gear and batteries—you're going to need a lot if you plan on taking it away from AC power. 50 bones.

<![CDATA[Hands-On: Adobe Messenger Bag]]> Adobe sent us one of its limited-edition leather messenger bags ($250) we told you about a couple of weeks ago for testing, and we tried fitting a variety of laptops inside. The 17-inch MacBook Pro barely fits (almost needs to be lubed up), a 15-inch MacBook Pro fits pretty well, a 15.2-inch Dell Mobile Precision Workstation M70 hardly fits, and a 12-inch Dell X1 slides in beautifully. All were offered super-cushioned protection in this roomy and handsome messenger bag.

The bag itself is made out of high-quality leather that feels and smells great, and it has lots of convenient pockets inside, including perfect placement for iPod cables. The downside is its weird bungee-cord-connected clasp, which is difficult to latch especially when the bag is full. We also didn't care for its carrying handle on top, which is for some reason offset toward the back of the bag. We really liked the cushy-padded shoulder strap and the overall good looks of this bag jointly designed by Adobe and a design group known as Medium. Overall, it's a qualified thumbs-up. The worst news? It looks like it's sold out—it's no longer available on the Adobe website.

<![CDATA[Tunewear iPod Hi-Fi]]> After plopping down $349 for an iPod Hi-Fi, what's the next thought that pops into your head? Is it "now I need a leather carrying case"? Probably not, but If you can spare another $295, you can conveniently schlep your high class speakers around town. The package includes:

a removable, padded shoulder strap, felt lining, and a small case for the Apple remote.

If we see you on the street with this thing, we're going to rob you. That's not a joke.

Available in June.

<![CDATA[Shling Style Laptop Bag]]> OGIO has taken a page out of their golf book and adding a shling style strip to their line of laptop carrying bags. The shling has made carrying a golf bag much easier and more comfortable. The bag itself - completely empty - weighs an already hefty five and a half pounds. Add a laptop and handful of cables and accessories this will push well into double digits. Supposedly the shling distributes weight more evenly and allows the body to stand upright easier but a couple PC Mag reviews editors disagreed with the benefits and had a handful of complaints about this techie shling. OGIO will be shipping these bags later this year for around $199.

<![CDATA[Samsonite Laptop Case/Pillow]]>

Leave it to Samsonite to make some bastardized travel accessory for the geek clique. The company's new line of laptop carriers come in 3 different styles—hardshell case, top-loading case, and a 2-in-1 messenger bag—and are made with memory foam that converts into a pillow. The Hardshell EVA Laptop Pillow has a 1.5-inch memory foam cushion and runs for $80. The 2-in-1 Messenger Bag comes with lots of space for other, smaller electronics and goes for $200, and the top-loading LP450, retailing for $100, is a soft-shell model, also with a 1.5-inch memory foam cushion. If these things are actually comfortable, I give them a thumbs up, but I have to wonder how big they are and how they fit in a coach seat. However, if it's more comfortable than the aerogel pillows they give you on the plane, I'm sold.
