As we move inexorably to another live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, we find out that Stephen Amell, Oliver Queen himself, is joining the cast as Casey Jones. And, with that, he adds another vigilante character to his resume.
By all accounts Nickelodeon's new CG Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon is thoroughly all right — a nice mix of action, comedy, and TMNT lore. So I won't give it guff for a preview that focuses primarily on asses and ass-accessories, because it's just a preview. The new Casey Jones, however, is a different story.
With almost no funding, Austin filmmaker Polaris Banks made his own 35-minute fan movie about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle's cricket bat-wielding vigilante friend Casey Jones. Banks got Robbie Rist, the voice of Michelangelo in the movies, to lend his pipes to the no-budget production.
