I dont know who this is [i.gizmodo.com] (though I have seen his pic in a couple of the Giz posts) but, to me, he represents the quintessential geek; the poster boy for nerd. I think he is gorgeous. ;)

@Brian Lam: The fact that he has a hot GF does not in any way surprise me. I wasnt actually trying to pick him up, as I am old enough to be his......Aunt, but, really, thats the face I would imagine on the other side of the genius bar. Nice that the Giz staff (of both sexes) are nice looking IN ADDITION to being so good at their jobs. Kudos to you and all the folks on Giz, its my fav site.

"The Computers: 9 Macbooks of varying vintage and a Dell (belonging to Adam Frucci)"

And this my friends is why gizmodo has spiraled into a cesspool of apple fanboy-ism. When almost every writer has an (unfortunate) predisposition for apple, every* story is somehow related to apple. I miss the old Giz.

Fanboys please note: The word "every" is not meant in a literal sense. It is for effect. Sure, there are pieces not about apple. But when a company with 10% market share gets more coverage than everyone else, there is an obvious reason for it (which isn't "apple is teh best!!111!", or any other nonsense).

@Kaiser-Machead: No wait...fuck it! Spending time meandering outside during the summer in good ol' NYC provides a great deal of scenery to study. With more form-fitting clothes, shorter skirts and looser, thinner fabrics, you get to gaze a bit more at the loose, the apple/peach-shaped and the badonk-a-donk. High-rising or low-riding, seemed there were some that did well, some that were a bit overhung with uncomplimentary "chichos" spilling over the waistbands, and let me tell you, there is no "classic example" in the real world.

At the same time, it's easier to judge by the quality of a photograph, but often the meat space is a far nicer place than what a lens captures.....some of the time.

@TheSonOfKrypton: You're argument would have made a credible statement if you didn't mention "deplorable asses that most white women have". You have obviously narrowed it down to particular race.

Besides, "asians having nice asses in higher preponderance than brazilian women" is subjective.

Why would the CIA be making a presentation to the president about eco-technologies that can reduce our dependence on foreign oil?

I mean, I can understand the CIA being interested in eco-tech, but that sounds like the kind of thing they'd just write a briefing document about (a briefing document that nobody would ever read).
