Japan's Highest Digital Porn Censor Arrested For Not Censoring Enough Hoohas

If you've ever seen any Japanese porn at all, you know that the good stuff is usually censored. The man in charge of censoring these hairy body parts, Katsumi Ono, plus four other adult business colleagues, were just arrested for allowing 13,000 copies of movies into the marketplace that weren't completely mosaicked. The "two DVDs in question did not sufficiently hide the on-screen action," which means these are the best two movies to come out of Japan in our lifetime. [Variety via Fleshbot (NSFW!)]

If your delicate sensibilities are upset by curse words, there's a new way to protect yourself from the vile cesspool that is broadcast television. You will soon be able to turn your TV into its own censor with a Personal TV Censor. Using a computer and a DVR, it scans through the closed captioning feed looking for naughty words on a blacklist you supply. When it comes to one, it'll beep it out of the audio.

These things are pretty stupid, but hell, anything can be funny if you're drunk enough. The censor bar glasses are worn like regular glasses and put that black censor bar over your eyes like in those late-night Girls Gone Wild ads. Useful for streakers, shoplifters, or people with really wide faces. – Jason Chen
