Last week you were crying out for more ideas from Haier's wall o' ideas, so I swung by there on the last day of the show to see if there were any more hare-brained suggestions. I was in luck!
Last we saw marathon karaoke man, he was singing for nobody like he was singing for his life. There's no evidence that he's stopped since Wednesday, but he has accumulated a small fanbase. Feel, as your pity transmutes into respect.
On Haier's stand at CES they're displaying some innovative wireless TVs. Helping breed innovation amongst the stand-goers, they've also got a wall asking people to "share your ideas." Let's hope the following ideas came from contained Vegas locals, at least.
This guy was positioned near the press room and drew quite the crowd. And why not? Digital name tags are a sensible and inevitable part of the future, as I see it. Or not. OK, probably not.
Sick of eReaders and Bluetooth headsets? Witness the Ed Hardy booth! They call their iPhone cases "Icing" for some reason and have two plasticky bikini-clad booth babes. If you're the kind of person who likes Ed Hardy, you'll love it.
We might complain about the amount of work we do here at CES, but nothing puts life in perspective like a man forced to soberly sing karaoke in the wilds of south hall all day long. Stay strong, karaoke man.
