    @wolfenstein-3d: My dad had 3 daughters and a BUNCH of guns and every guy that ever came to pick us up was greeted by my dad cleaning his guns and giving the guy the evil eye. I used to hate that, but now, as the mother of a daughter, I am planning on doing the same thing.

    This is not something you'd want to use on a zombie. Way too much infected splatter. You get any zombie juice on an open wound, and it's over.


    Maybe if you were wearing some body armor.

    @YourTechSupport: I came here to say this. Not to mention you really don't want to be that close to one. And the weight of the thing would mess up your aim, so having it just makes you need it more.

    To those commenter's that think this guy could loose a limb he is obviously very safety conscious look at how the gun is being held in a safe manner and his finger is off the trigger. He is also a serviceman which tells me that he has had plenty of safety training.

    I want one in the worst sort of way this would be the ultimate accessory to brag about at the gun range.

    @SajniNumskis: Gun safety and chainsaw safety are two entirely different things. I will concede he is safe gunwise, but chainsaw wise, he's begging to get hurt.

    @DeusExMach: No safety gear whatsoever. A chainsaw isn't like a gun. If that chain snaps, it can/will whip around and cut you. He was wearing simple jeans, not kevlar chaps, no hearing protection, etc... When you fire a gun, everything downrange of the gun is in danger. With a chainsaw, there is a circle of danger that extends around the saw.
