It's not pink goop. It's more like a beige-ish sludge. Gross? Not entirely because ground up raw chicken meat made on a mass level will probably never look appetizing, no matter how clean the process and how delicious the result is. But at least it's good to know you're not eating alien meat?

Chef Jamie Oliver calls it pink slime. We feel it's more like pink goop. Either way, the ammonium hydroxide soaked pink crap beef is vomit inducing. Thankfully, you won't have to eat it anymore. Kind of. McDonald's has finally caved to the pressure and will ditch the use of the pink goop beef in its burgers.
I thought I'd seen a lot in my 24 years on this planet. Some shocking things. Startling things. Things that've given me a home, then taken it right away. But I've never seen anything like this: the Popeyes Dip'n Chick'n. Revolution.
The twisting pink mass that looks like frozen yogurt infected with ectoplasm might look disgusting. It might be mechanically separated chicken, chicken nuggets in their primordial form. And it is perfectly okay to eat.
This is mechanically separated chicken. Chickens are turned into this goop so we can create delicious chicken nuggets and juicy chicken patties. It's obscenely gross and borderline alien but it's not going to stop me from eating nuggets. They're too good.
