I thought I was flashing back again at the end there, whew.
Good times though. Hehe You know once I...Hmmm?
Oh, yeah. The computer.
Nice little piece!
If I didn't already have a great netbook in the form of my Dell Mini 9 I would seriously be drawn to this product, as the convertible aspect of it is REALLY neat.
Tell me it's easily moddable, and cast the thing is a darker color and the temptation factor will reach "triple dog dare" levels, which would be a slight breach of etiquette, but might still have me heading towards the frozen flagpole of device purchasing intent.
I must be the only one who sees this as a grade school tool. ? It is called the 'Classmate' right? Not all things are created the same for their different purposes. I knew one day I would see something like this come out and I am happy. Just think, a kid can take home their book, notes, assignment and study guide, and much more all in one! There is huge potential. If you were to miss a few days your teacher could send you everything you need to stay caught up. May I also add, people learn differently (audio, kinetic, visual) and something like this would kinda cover all of that, although it won't take the place of classics like crayons and paste. It is just a prototype anyway so of course it will need some major tweaks. I can also see this as a perfect thing for the not so tech-suavy Grandma/pa because of the larger icons and easier to handle housing, plus Grandpa's arther won't act up so much with out having to use a pesky mouse or keyboard. Hopefully it will get enough support so we can see this in the next 10 years in schools and to market.

I thinks it's funny they are also working with Lego's. I can remember playing with mindstorms at home when I was younger. They were so much fun!!
