    Screw mice. Screw mammoths even. What I want to see is some freaky genetic tweaking that results in the creation of...the mimmoth.

    I wonder how this might apply to the recent discovery of elastic bone marrow tissue found in a T. Rex bone a few years ago: It had intact red blood cells.

    Those wooly mammoths will be happy we cloned them just in time for global warming to re-kill them.

    Oh no you don't! These mammals had their chance and Nature SELECTED them for extinction!

    @kzooguy: No, no... it was a ray-blast from space aliens (cleverly disguised as a meteor) that filled the sky with dust, blotting out the sun and killing most life on the planet... except for the Loch Ness Monsters... and Sasquatch.... and Yetis... and Chupacabras...

    @Kaiser-Machead's Cookie-Powered LEGO Machine: That's very Nietzsche.

    I think it's more: God creates man; man rebels against God; man creates an army of mammoths, saber-toothed tigers, Dino-Riders, and Voltron to destroy God; God destroys army; man turns back to God and forgets the whole thing ever happened; man discovers Voltorn parts and creates an idol... rinse and repeat.

    I am admittedly behind on my mammoth research... do we HAVE a frozen mammoth corpse that we've been hangin' on to, just in case something like this came about?
