In other news, Fox News thinks that it is a news provider.

@Pwnerjam3.0: How is that a typo? Listing Google as a "Searh Engine" is a typo, but listing Firefox, Apple, and Microsoft as search engines is just plain wrong. Someone didn't know the difference and several other people didn't know enough about it to catch the mistake. And then it made it on to TV, and now it's on the internet where we can all use our own search engines to make fun of it.

@Pwnerjam3.0: It's impossible that it was just a typo. Substituting any word, company or product adds no more sense to the sentence. For instance, maybe they meant web browser. Well first off Apple and Microsoft are not web browsers but ok they do each have a web browser. If that was the case then the ordering is also wrong because Microsoft > Firefox > Apple not Microsoft >= Apple > Firefox. Ok then so then let's start substituting in a company instead of a product which in this case is Firefox. If we are talking search engines then Google is the obvious choice. But this creates two problems. One Apple doesn't have a search engine, only Microsoft does. In addition to that, Google is not behind any other search engine and it is Microsoft who is behind them. So maybe they meant OS's and were referring to Linux. In this case the ordering would make sense but they would have to replace Firefox with Linux and search engine with operating system

As far as I can tell any correction to make this work requires at least two logical steps. Typos are one step corrections. Technically they are misspellings and do not misuse of words. I'm not a Fox basher at all but this was plain stupid and ignorant.
