Was staying with my brother in Munich last year when we visited this farm. It's practically impossible to convey the sheer size of these things. My (sadist) brother told me to stand with my chest and chin against the support column, and look up. As you look up, with each sweep of the blade boring down on you, it's almost impossible to not fall backward in sheer wonder and terror.
Add LEDs to this experience, and I think my brains and balls would explode simultaneously.
@jedi4life: I don't know about across the pond, but stateside advertisers apparently think that drivers being distracted with paragraphs of info or tiny text is a routine part of driving.
I'm actually a very good driver (only ever had one accident that was my fault and that was shortly after first getting my license). Even I've almost gotten into accidents because I've tried to read a billboard that thought that a 24pt font would surely be big enough. I've had to train myself to not look at billboards anymore.
Given the option, I'd take a giant LED distraction any day.
I have quite a few Soviet children's books (translated to English) that I received as gifts during my childhood . Would never trade them for anything. They really are wonderful pieces of literature.
This would be cool imbedded in the floors of Malls, Stores and Airports where art goes to die.
On a side note I HATE TOE SOCKS. I want to punch the person in the face. I will tell people in public places how much I hate them if I see them wearing them. This must be some kind of a disorder.
@G.O.D.: If you honestly felt that strongly about socks that other people wear, I'd feel very sorry for you. I'm just going to assume you're dumb and overly dramatic and a bit of an egomaniac on the internet.
@Joe Stoner: I did attend college, 10 years of it and that does have a dumbing down effect but I have started to gain back some of my lost intelligence over the years, as for dramatic I just really hate toe socks, feelings are a weakness that we all must purge and I have for the most part. As for being an egomaniac yes I am and not just on the internet.
A proud Soviet-born here. Don't remeber this particular book, but grew up with many books just like this one. Robots and tech seemed to be big back then in the good old SU.
There were also some seriously trippy, and sometimes hilarious cartoons that came out in the 80's, concerning technology, nuclear holocaust, environment, and other stuff.
@Gundem: Oh im Russian too and the name of the show is roughly translated to , Ill get you. Or it sounds like this: Noo-Poe-Go-Dee. Haha just had to tell you that for some reason...
@mnerd: Just send me your account information along with your SSN along and a good number to reach you at. I'll automatically debit your account and have it to you by Christmas. I promise. Cross my heart, hope to die.
Ah, the Soviet war propaganda machine starts 'em young. These words 'I am a robot' will echo in their hearts as they march forward into enemy fire as young adults.

Where are the patriots?
Why don't you just put a picture of obama at the top of the page?
