    So it's the FOURTH generation descendant of a barley that was merely KEPT in space? Fourth generation could mean anything. It could mean that they currently have millions of lbs of this stuff. So why is it $113 bucks?

    @Alfisted: I think the barley was grown in space. The beer wasn't made in space.

    But I'm curious, why do you need gravity for fermentation?

    @aubreyAubrey: It was a joke. The term Specific Gravity refers to the density of a liquid relative to water. In brewing, the specific density of the wort is measured at various stages of fermentation.
