It's still $20 on this link (pickup only, so YMMV):

Now, if I could just decide if I should get the 360 elite, I got a 360 premium from launch.

Those are some great prices.

That's probably why reading the Gaming sections of these G&G Deals of the Day posts is so frustrating for me.

Buying a new iMac and configuring it with a 2TB internal and a 2TB time capsule is signifigantly more than $275. Plus, the majority of people don't need a 2TB drive.
Unless of course, you're being sarcastic. In which case, nevermind.

My iMac (came with 250gb and I replaced that when the 750gbs got under $300) serves all my media (currently using 2x 320 gb external 2.5inch drives and a 750 GB internal, which has 30 GB free) then I have a network share with a few TBs through a linux box, which acts as a Time Machine for the 3 mac laptops, and a backup point for my gaming desktop (which has the imac's old 250 gb and 750 gb and is the dedicated dvd ripper) and intel atom HTPC. The only one of my computers I don't back up is my asus netbook, mostly because everything I do on it is online anyway. Of course, the average person doesn't own 6 computers personally, or have 10 or so in their household, but damnit, we are Gizmodo readers!

My father has a setup similar to yours - he has 7 1TB drives connected to it in total! He uses Beyond TV, so he can watch live TV and record it as well. He also uses it as a media server to store ripped movies to just the recorded television.
I was battling the 1TB decsision when i bought my 500GB for backup of my computer, but i couldn't justify/afford to spend over $100 on another hard drive in which i would never ever fill up completely (I'm a student - had to save up for textbooks for my classes). I use Acronis True Image home 11, and it compresses disk images very well.
So, in conclusion, as a cheap/broke-ass college student, and for normal people purchasing a backup drive, springing for the 2TB, something they may never ever potentially fill, is a waste of money. Unless you have a media server with many movies or edit HD movies. In which case, for data backup, I think your money would be better invested in a RAID array or possilby even one of those Drobos.
