Good invention, but the problem here is 1600 pieces isn't that much room.

    At least for me.....

@KTK1990: have a few kids. Age 2+ can sort by color, 3+ can sort by size, age 5+ can sort by shape. More expensive than a Box4Bricks, but in the long run totally worth it - a Box4Bricks will never be able to take out the trash, do the laundry or contribute to your retirement.

@--Tito--: Because then it would be pointless to spend hours working on them to hide them. And I have too many. I had like 12 boxes full of them when I moved.

I have an entire room full of legos. I have the ones that arent finished, or are finished and waiting for another section of the town to be finished (Like the trains), in the closet on a shelf.

I used to employ my little sister as a lego sorter. I would ask for a "1x4 white thin", a "1x1 red thick", and she would look for them through the whole pile. We have very nice memories of that time :)

I bought one of those ny coffee mugs at alphabets on 6th and a about 3 years ago. That's my favorite coffee mug by far. Besides the cute factor, it just feels really good in your hand. Hard to describe, but it has a nice tactile feel to it, I really like the fake paper seam up the side.

Mr Ive didn't pay for my iPhone replacement when my uncased iPhone took a tumble a couple of weeks back.

Until the replacements are on his bob, that pretentious bloke can piss off. There's nothing wrong with iPhone cases.

It's just plain stupid to advise against cases. I just shelled out £200 for a new 3rd gen 32GB iPod touch and the first* thing I did was shove that motherfucka in a nice Belkin leather folio case. Provided you don't get a shit ass case your iPod/iPhone can look just as good wrapped in something that protects both its form and its function.

I generally like to preserve both these aspects of my devices. But if I have to sacrifice one it'd be the looks every time. A broken device is useless and therefore its design is useless. There's only so much you can appreciate about the design of a paperweight.

Plus unless you have money to burn on replacements then if you crack or scratch your phone generally its design and beauty are ruined anyway so you've lost both. Better to sacrifice some measure of style for the security of keeping your investment intact.

My advice is just don't buy ugly cases. Get a nice one, keep your beautiful screen unscratched and fully functional.

    * The second thing I did was jailbreak it.

Totally disagree with you on the iPhone cases. If they designed them properly, then I wouldn't need a case.

It's just way too slippery to be usable as is. Seriously, the person who designed that must've gotten their degree from Sears & Roebuck.

There is something to be said about design for the sake of design vs usability. As a device or gadget, if it's not usable, I don't give two shits what it looks like.

    @Bluecold:Of volcanic temperament but soothed by a custard pie balsam.: Before the haet starts;
I was fully aware of what it was. It didn't work and the cosmetic state was deplorable. It wasn't worth it.
    Some notes:
The front plate isn't brushed aluminium, it is painted steel.
The build quality is deplorable. The knobs are all plastic except for one. If that wasn't bad enough, it's plastic with non-stainless grub screws in them, so the plastic knobs cracked.
The selector push knobs have too long, too flimsy rods attached to them so they feel like they are from a third rate chinese microset.
So no matter how 'Apple' it looks, you don't want it. It'll destroy your admiration for the design and you'll grow to hate it.
My SX-434 Pioneer sounds like a champ, is built infinitely better, and although most will prefer the aesthetics of the Braun, the Pioneer doesn't look too bad either and it doesn't need to be attached to a wall to look good.
Braun pulled out of audio for a reason. They sucked at it. Even great design can't save shit products.

PS, i can't edit the post above for some reason.

I agree about cases ... but my biggest annoyance is screen protectors. They protect the screen, but at the expense of having an ugly screen with peeling corners ... is that really better than a couple of minor scratches? And one of my biggest pet hates are people that leave the peel-away plastic cover on shiny surfaces (like on watches and phones etc) that are on there when you buy the item ... If I ever have access to their objects I remove them immediately and slap them round the back of their head.

I have seen some good iPhone cases though, I have to say.
