I mean seriously? This is so stupid. The whole point is that macs are over priced, which they are, you get more for your money when you're not paying extra for the Apple logo. The other point Apple has nothing to offer lower end consumer. How does comparing a $699 laptop to a much higher end model refute that at all?

And funnily enough Dell's adamo is more expensive than MB's, the Air(which Im not big on but more so than the adamo with its back-end lol), and almost as much as the bottom end MBP's. Granted though they do offer cheap laptops as well.
This isn't just apple, but look at other computer makers like alienware (well part of Dell lol) if you want to spend a pretty penny.

And no, I don't have a nice watch, why would I, when you're surrounded by cellphones, computers, and actual clocks, buying an expensive watch is just vanity. My appliances aren't stainless steel, they're the most functional and affordable I could find, same goes for my TV. Only fanboys and brand whores buy something for a brand name, or how shiny it looks, or how trendy it is. Those are the people who waste money on macs. So your argument really reinforces the point of this otherwise lame Microsoft ad.

I have this 2k HP/Compaq 6910 Motorola laptop/harbinger of death (2k? yes, that is what they charge my department at Motorola), and I'm not sure whether or not I'd prefer that powerbook.
Oh and just ignore that MBP abbreviation in my screen name.

Back to Lauren, I agree with your take on her the other day. She is a cutie. I also think she's a good actress. Perhaps she'll wind up in the next installment of Blair Witch. There's something about her that makes me think if she were in a movie, she'd establish instant likeability, and then something bad would happen to her. I could see her cast in "Cloverfield: LA" but among the first to be eaten.
She's perky but perishable, this year's Dell Guy.
I actually like the commercial. I know the 17" notebook she chose has the screen resolution of a light brite and weighs more than Nancy Pelosi, but she's so happy about making a purchase, or rather being filmed making a purchase, I'm rooting for her until the day she gets caught doing blow on the Macbook Air she buys with the royalties she earns from the ad.
