    When designing autonomous robots, one should probably refrain from choosing any colors that fall anywhere on the colorwheel near "flesh tone". Black to tan to pinkish-white is out. I'd suggest blue as the target color, but that's a good way to put out somebody's eye and waste ammo on a sunny day.

    It looks as though the robot, after calculating the poor odds of it leading a more meaningful life in retirement from being a stationary sentry gunner, decided to give up.

    I remember an old old article in Pop Sci, maybe Mechanix Illustrated about some guys who made radio controlled scale model battleships with REAL guns! (Sawed off and modified hunting rifles). They would reenact naval battles, and one guy actually got shot!

    We all knew robots would be here one day but who knew they would suck so much. They don't make my bed or do my bidding and they certainly don't go to work for me while I spend my day in the holodeck. If society is truly going to implode on itself then we need to be able to avoid all contact with other humans.
