I like how the guy on the bench next to him gets up and walks away. When someone is talking and/or singing to themselves it's best to give them a wide berth and avoid making direct eye contact.

@Jrsy Devil's AdvocateĀ®: The first rule of not getting screwed with in NYC is to look a little nuts. You'll get more room on the bench and more space on the sidewalk. Wear your underwear on the outside of your pants, put on an actual tinfoil hat, be imaginative. If you can't handle crafting an odd appearance, or if all your clothes are black, muttering incoherently helps, as does shouting incomprehensibly every now and again -- just remember to take off your bluetooth earpiece beforehand because otherwise you'll seem normal.
@SpyMagician: That guy is always hanging around the L train. When he runs out of things to sing he usually switches to a very earnest, if not overly warbly and weirdly phrased version of, "Happy Birthday to You."
That's not Woz, It''s Santa. The hat is a dead giveaway. I can understand the confusion, but this is everybody's SECOND favourite fat guy with a beard.
@Hearthatvoiceagain: It's a little known fact that Santa ditches the elves for a couple weeks before the big night to go on a meth-and-booze bender in NYC, just to tune his aura and align his chakras.
@ninjagin: Well, I don't want to criticise the guy (especially as he keeps lists of people he considers naughty), but wouldn't it be more sensible to leave the bender till after Christmas, when he can properly kick back.
This is a strange universe. I'd swear to anyone that it's me in many ways. I'm in NYC now and even did a couple of dance steps when prodded in a place or two. I did ride the subway trains a bit too. But it's not me as far as I know. And I have a logical proof. I'm on a morning to night schedule every day here, only getting a few hours of sleep each of the last few nights. Except that I was here one day with nothing to do and I did ride subways that afternoon. But it couldn't be me. This guy is too handsome and he dances much better.
@RT100: PowerBooks used to have the Apple the other way around, so it made sense when you were about to open them. There was actually a debate about this, back in the day, when they turned the Apple around.
Ugh. That trumpet guy is at the Graham stop often in the mornings. I often give street musicians money, but I absolutely refuse to do so if they're playing with a backing track. I just find it obnoxious.
@lostarchitect: Well la-di-dah to you, too! Between Scribblenerding jobs, I've played music in the subway. ALL street/underground musicians need that dollar you're going spend on a latte later on.
so you're saying Woz's evil twin is a happy dancing santa hat sporting jolly old fellow in the subways... interesting, whats that say about the Real Steve Woz?

Once we see them both side-by-side, we'll be able to make a much better judgement on this.
