Ignoring the lower half the actual electonics hub looks pretty cool and futuristic. Now if it slides out with a whir and a hum when you run your finger clockwise around that aluminium disc it could just about forgive the lower part.Reply
Interesting idea, horrid execution. Its like someone was boxing, got the idea to include electronics on a table and added glass to make sure it has fingerprints all over it, before it topples over and shatters, sending jagged shards everywhere.Reply
i, too, have something else that extends - my courtesy to my guests, of course, is extended constantly; especially when entertaining female guests, my courtesy is extended to the utmost.
alright, i'll concede the point. and i've noticed the boards have been cleaner in the last few days, (thanks!) and you wont hear me complain about overzealous hammering when i just got done bitching about how lax things had become around here.
I would love to have one of these, but, when my house was built the electrician wired all the top outlets to a switch on the wall (for lamps, etc) so unless I leave all the lights ON, the top half of the power doesnt work. (Yes, I know, I can turn them off individually, but then I fall on my face feeling around for the lamp in the dark.)Reply
@Curves: Get a Lightning Switch for the lamp. Uses unpowered RF signals to turn the lights on and off from any outlet. NO wiring required. They are great. I use them in my home where I have a lack of overhead lighting but want a light switch at the door.
@bandit: Thank you, I will check it out. I was worried I might have to get a "Clapper". (I would rather fall on my face in the dark then have to hear that song "CLAP ON/CLAP OFF - THE CLAPPER" in my head every time I use it.)Reply
