@Shamoononon: I shave my legs.:
I understand the frustration too, but frustration is part and parcel of ANY parenthood. This child's fit didn't just happen spontaneously. It was the result of years and years of lazy, stupid, inbred parenting. The kid won't eat her spinach? Whack her upside the head. Won't go to sleep? Spank the stuffing out of her. Bad grades at school? Hot needles under the fingernails.
With the exception of mental disorder, behavior like this from a child is always, always, ALWAYS the parent's fault. This loving mother should have her ovaries pulled out and stuffed down her fucking throat.
@STiger: Not all of us. I put the most serious effort into parenting that I have ever put into anything in my life, because its the most important thing I will EVER do, but you just dont see those if us who are actually trying to do well on the internet. If my child behaved that way, she would pray for the cops to come and taz her because she would KNOW she was going to get far worse from me, and I wouldnt have to raise a hand to her to accomplish it either.
Mothers: Taking Terror to a whole new level for the betterment of tomorrow.
@njdevil: We've been trying for years, but the problem is that it's in the middle of a bunch of other stuff that we want to keep. If it was on the edge, we could trim it off, but because it's surrounded we have to keep it.
Okay, I'm going to come out and say it because I know no one else will.
All those crazy conspiracy theorists talking about the "New World Order"? Guess what? They're actually right.
You see, to protect and serve is no longer their motto. Now it's either obey them, whether it's good or bad bad for you, or get beaten up. The cops will not get canned, they'll simply either suspend them for a few days or nothing.
Now adays, you can't do anything at all. You do not have freedom of speech any longer. For example, if you talk bad about the system now adays, you might be considered a "terrorist" depending what cord you strike.
Being patriotic is considered being a terrorist. Loving your country too much could be considered a terrorist act. Having a "Don't Thread on me" bumper sticker could be considered an act of terrorism.
The point is that it has gotten way out of control. They're using 9/11 as an excuse to call anyone who goes agaisnt the system a terrorist. A certain ex-president once said "You're either with us, or you're with the terrorist". It took them 5 hours to declare war, but 18 months to do an investigation. It makes perfect sense.
The patriot acts are pure rubbish. Why have a Bill of Rights when we choose to ignore it? Little by little they're dissolving the Bill of Rights.
This isn't about dems or reps. This isn't about left or right. It is about your personal freedoms being taken away, while the masses sit idle, allowing it to happen. Remember, the eagle will not be able to take flight with just one wing. It needs both of them, working together.
What will it take for people to say enough is enough? If a 10 year old getting tasered does not send a red flag alert to any of you, I don't know what will.
Kids now adays disobey their parents, and it is because of the way they are being brought up. Now adays they disobey, they get told to go to their rooms, only to come out 10 minutes later.
I have seen kids throw tantrums at super markets, and all the mother/father can do is tell them "Oh honey please calm down" and actually reward them with whatever they wanted in the first place.
As soon as someone talks about such "conspiracies" people instantly ridicule them. We have been taught to ignore such claims and have a laugh at their expense while enjoying a nice TV dinner all by ourselves. Screw family, friends and thy neighbors.
I could care less who agrees or disagrees with me. I said what needed to be said.
@Coolmodo: There was a story a year or so ago about some guy who sued his local police department after they failed him for scoring too high on all their proficiency tests. Something about being too smart to be a cop.
@Belsatzar: Yes in Krems a gang of thieves were caught in the act and one was fired upon and killed (later turning out to be a teenager, but still a thief).
Are you saying this is on the same level as tasering a small child who committed no crime?
I guess he forgot his L-Rad at teh donut shoppe. He had no choice but to use the taser. He is an asshole, but the mom is just as bad. This will probably destroy the relationship more.
@Nipple Juice: Clearly the parent and cop were both simply lazy. Do you know how much energy it takes to beat up a recalcitrant 10 year old until it shuts up? Well, neither do I, but I bet it's a lot. Stop and think...
@Jrsy Devil's Advocate®: Wow I'm a little disappointed. For being a star commenter, that's all you got from this story? Anyways traffic cops should be the ones getting kicked in the balls for "fishing" for tickets on one street every day.
@ppark: Were you expecting me to say the cop should have been fired or himself tasered? Considering how many other people had already expressed similar sentiments there wasn't much point in me parroting them. It was obviously excessive however I'm fairly certain it was the kick in the nuts that escalated it to the level it reached. With all the protective gear police officers have you would think they'd have enough sense to shield their junk from random (or intended) kicks.
If nothing else then hopefully this incident will serve as a valuable lesson to other members of the law enforcement community. It only takes a split second for a situation to get out of control and a bad decision to make it even worse.
And as far as you criticizing my comment, let's take a look at yours, shall we...
"Anyways traffic cops should be the ones getting kicked in the balls for "fishing" for tickets on one street every day"
Really? These people should be kicked for doing their job? How about if we come to your place of work and kick you in the balls while you're on the clock? Do you think traffic officers have any say in how many tickets they are expected to write on a daily basis? Even if it's a case of them trying to meet a ticket quota, it's not their call. They have they're bosses and are told what to do just like you and me.
@Jrsy Devil's Advocate®: I have no way of knowing without your help. You obviously have a line (which is good), but arbitrary enforcement of traffic code falls on the "acceptable" side of it. Hopefully this taser attack does not.
I'm just curious about the least outrageous behavior for which you would reject a "just doing my job" excuse. Because it's been used to defend some pretty nasty deeds.

Austrian cops don't carry tasers, but I doubt we would be hearing cases like this over and over again if they did.
It's almost like any person who is unemployed can become a cop in the States?

Amazing what you do with a little electricity.

Then that became a no-no and corporal punishment was a sign of bad parenting.
Now, in this generation, you get tazed.
I think I dodged one hell of a bullet when I was growing up.
